A highlight of the evening will be the crowning of Barbra Streisand as “Miss Ziegfeld of 1965.” The actress, who is starred in Funny Girl, won the title in the public balloting as “the girl who most personifies the qualities which Florenz Ziegfeld looked for in choosing a performer.” In Funny Girl, Miss Streisand portrays the late Fanny Brice. Bert Hirsch and his orchestra is supplying the music for the ball.

End.
