Barbra Streisand has son, it's a “million dollar baby”

Singer Barbra Streisand, still elated over the birth of her first child, said Friday: “My God, I'm a mother. I'm a little girl myself, and now I'm a mother.”
Miss Streisand, 24, whose looks and singing style have made her a tremendous show business attraction, gave birth to a son at Mount Sinai Hospital Thursday. He was named Jason Emanuel Gould.
The father, actor Elliott Gould, 28, said of his son:
“He looks like her, only he has a cleft in his chin and dark hair, like me. He's got the brightest, bluest, flashingest eyes. Just like her. Exactly. Beautiful.”
When Miss Streisand, star of the Broadway play Funny Girl, became pregnant, she withdrew from a $1-million planned singing tour. Thus, the child was called “a million dollar baby.”
