Streisand on Ellen Degeneres Show

THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW featured an interview with Barbra Streisand on Monday, October 24th.

Comedienne ELLEN DEGENERES thrilled four Streisand superfans when she took them with her to Streisand's "home". Barbra's publicist let The Barbra Archives know that the interview was not done at Barbra Streisand's estate.  It was at someone else's private residence eight or ten miles from where Barbra lives.

Ellen asked some fun questions (James Brolin: Boxers or briefs?) and even relayed some of the fans' questions to Barbra (example: "What kind of bra do you wear?"). Barbra also revealed that a dear friend had recently died and Ellen thanked her for doing the interview despite her loss. Although just a few minutes long, the interview was fun. Columbia Records bought some commercial time advertising the new album, and Ellen plugged it at the end of the interview, so look for "Guilty Pleasures" sales to increase. As Barbra told Ellen, "you've got good ratings."
