WWW Featurette:

"Recreating A Memory" directed by Elliott Geisinger (Professional Films/Robbins Nest Production)

The featurette included many behind-the-scenes shots of Pollack filming The Way We Were. On set footage of the day that Groucho Marx visited and observed the filming of the party scene is included (Streisand poses with him, dressed as "Harpo").

The Costumes

Dorothy Jeakins designed some of he costumes for The Way We Were, then left the production before the film completed. A few designers were suggested to replace her, including Edith Head and Adolfo, but Streisand chose Moss Mabry. Mabry told writer James Spada, "She's got wonderful buns. And one of the most beautiful busts in Hollywood. And beautiful skin."
